PURPOSE:    To address the shared responsibilities of the District and parents/guardians for the well-being of students in the District.

PURPOSE:     Because the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs adversely affects a student’s ability to achieve academic success, is physically and emotionally harmful, and has serious social and legal consequences, the Board believes it is necessary for the schools of the District to be free of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

PURPOSE:    To outline actions during medical emergencies.

PURPOSE:    To define the District’s guidelines relative to the administration of medication to students.

PURPOSE:    To promote practices and establish guidelines for the protection of students and staff from communicable diseases.
